I am passionate about supporting libraries through my work as a King County Library System Foundation Board member. Kwame Alexander kicked off the 2021 Virtual Gala with a reading his poem followed by the keynote by Colson Whitehead. The VIP Literary Lion included thirty authors (including me!).
